The unisex collection will be available online and at select Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada, beginning Monday, May 6. 100 per cent of the profits will be donated to MusiCounts, whose mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances and cultural background, have access to a music program through their school.
Artistically directed and produced by Laing, visual artists Derek Sullivan, Jessica Eaton, Sojourner Truth Parsons, Niall McClelland and Jason McLean each chose an Arts & Crafts musician to draw inspiration from, and used their music to inspire their designs. The result is a unique design that intersects between visual art and sound, representing the work of Arts & Crafts, Broken Social Scene, Feist, Timber Timbre and Dan Mangan through colour, pattern and design.

Amy Millan: ”Stars was always my husband, and Social Scene was kind of like my side lover. I dedicated my life to Stars, and Social Scene always had people coming in and out of it. Sometimes Emily would go on tour with them, sometimes Leslie Feist would go on tour with them and sometimes I would go on tour with them.
